IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN. Funky cups are the hit clay project of the year. The grade 9's always look forward to them. I'm very pleased with this years Funky Cup designs. I get to teach the grade 9's more often this year than I have in the past, so students were able to take their time I creating their cups. You can find previous years Funky Cups here:

Every year I do a Zen Doodle project with each grade. This year with the grade 9's I wanted to add a twist or new element to the project. I found this project on Pinterest at ___________. The idea of the assignment was to choose an image of a person from a magazine that represents POP Culture in some way. We were limited due to the lack of POP culture type magazines I had in storage, and due to the fact that many images had large text written across the persons face, or body etc.
