PIPES

PIPES

Students were asked to draw depth using pipes. Largest to smallest from foreground to back ground. Most enjoyed this project others found it challenging.
Students were also expected to show light through the shading of the pipes using pencil crayon. Marker was used in the back ground.

Pinch Pots

Pinch Pots

Kirsten
Students were given the choice to place their pinch pots in any direction they wanted. Sitting like a bowl, upside down or sideways. They could design any animal or creature they wanted and they could add any colour choices. This was my first time doing clay with the grade 7's, overall it was a good success. However some of the glazes didn't turn out as planned, either not enough coats were put on or they did not have a chance to cool down slow enough.
