 I originally found this lesson on the Incredible Art Department website (http://www.incredibleart.org/lessons/high/Dave-hands.htm ), but then found another version from A Faithful Attempt (http://afaithfulattempt.blogspot.ca/2011/01/contour-hands-with-text.html ), which is great as it forces students to be creative in coming up with a concept and make a personal connection.
